We may use the information we collect from you when you register, perform a pose analysis, export data, or use certain other app features in the following ways:
We use the device camera to capture video frames for real-time body pose estimation. The app uses the camera frames to detect body landmarks (such as shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles) from the camera feed. Camera frames are processed in real-time on your device and are not stored as images or transmitted to any server.
No facial recognition or facial identification is performed. The app detects body pose landmarks only for the purpose of calculating joint angles and gait metrics.
The app accesses the camera only after you have explicitly allowed it to do so. When you download the app, register, and proceed to analysis screens, you will be specifically asked by the app to allow Camera access. If you decline to provide access, the app will not capture any camera data. You can remove this access at any time by visiting Settings > Privacy > Camera and deselecting the app in the list.
You can delete your account and remove all your data by following the process below:
i. Email us at support@retisense.com with your registered user email or user ID, requesting us to delete the account and all data associated with the account.
ii. Within 3 business days, we will contact you to verify the account ownership details.
iii. Once your account ownership is verified, we will confirm that your account and all associated data has been marked for deletion.
iv. Within 3 business days, all your account data shall be deleted.
Our app and servers are scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your use of our app as safe as possible.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
You can choose to have your device warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser's Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our app, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We use external service providers to store data on the cloud. These providers enable us to save data on servers physically maintained by them through the Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) model, where they do not have access to the data we store on their servers; it is only accessible through your login & password as user, or through our administrative user & password.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our app. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our app and welcome any feedback about these sites.

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.
